World Water Day Countdown! 🌍 Q&A series We asked you about water on earth. The correct answer is the water remains constant. It can occur in different states of matter i.e. ice, water and vapor. But, the total amount of water does not change appreciably. The world's water moves between lakes, rivers, oceans, the atmosphere and the land in an ongoing cycle called water cycle. Earth has been recycling water for over 4 billion years. As water travels through this cycle, it undergoes changes in taste, shape, and form. #WorldWaterDay #Goal6 #Water #QuestionsPeopleAsk #WaterFacts #WaterAction #WaterIs #Peace #WaterConservation #Sustainability #CommunityEngagement #WaterForPeace ##WaterCooperation

Reforesting the world | Planting 1 trillion trees by 2050 | Sustainability as a Service | Forest Development Manager
For those in my network who aren't aware, Earth Day is coming up next Monday (22nd) - I am a big believer in companies and corporations taking responsibility for their actions, especially on an environmental level. It just so happens that I work for company that makes it easy for corporations to own this responsibility and generate a positive impact on the world around them. If you haven't already, I would urge you to think about planting trees on Tree-Nation to celebrate Earth Day and to begin to create a positive impact, not just on the planet, but on the people and communities who are directly involved in our global reforestation efforts. When trees cost as little as 0.50€, and you can plant as an individual, or a company, there aren't too many excuses... You can plant trees in any of our 50+ projects here 👉 https://lnkd.in/d9KQzmZ8 , or alternatively, reach out to me and I will get it done for you!

A zero-pollution mindset is defined by a collective understanding of the negative impacts of pollution, and collective action to prevent and mitigate the effects of pollution. Flooding like what has been seen this Summer can cause agricultural runoff and pollution of the Mississippi, which flows to other communities downstream. Together, we must work to achieve a zero-pollution mindset and clean up our water; for us, and for other riverside residents. Read more about the zero-pollution mindset in the Mississippi River Equity Vision, linked below. https://lnkd.in/gi_xsAR5
