Interesting! Growing up in Malaysia in the 70's, I remember meeting several Peace Corps volunteers working on various mental health and capacity building projects in my hometown, Ipoh. They were the first Westerners I ever met who weren't rich tourists or managers of some multi-national. It made a huge impression on me that there were people who would come all the way around the world and live in a house just like mine, just to be a speech therapist so they could help others.
The Biden Administration is taking steps to ensure environmental education goes beyond the classroom and into the workforce.
