So, here’s a confession: I’m absolutely obsessed with natural light. In my world of wedding #photography, nothing beats the soft, golden glow of sunlight filtering through a venue. This is my rule-breaking image. I shot it in aperture priority mode at f/4, 1/50th sec, with a 50mm fixed focal length lens. I broke the rule of thirds and placed my subject right in the centre. Why? It felt like the right choice at the time, with the flower surrounded by dark negative space. Do you think I made the right call?
