Embarking on my journey with TradeAsia Academy 6.0 as a student intern has been incredibly heartening. Just a week into this transformative program, my bed of mind is full of a wealth of knowledge and support surrounding me. From international trade to risk management, every lesson correlates deeply with my passion for trading. The one thing that has stood out in this program is the warmth and encouragement from the TradeAsia team to learn and grow. TradeAsia has entered into my professional life like an emerald, so rare, so mindful. This opportunity feels like a dream come true, propelling me towards a future in trading with boundless enthusiasm.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of having lunch with four of our talented young interns here at Pro Carrier, and it was really enjoyable having the opportunity to sit down with them and get to know them was great! At Pro Carrier, we've been running an internship program aimed at providing young individuals with their first step into the world of logistics as they transition from education to their careers. This initiative is something that we are incredibly proud of and deeply committed to continuing. Offering opportunities to young people to explore and find their way in the logistics industry is not only personally rewarding for us, but it also adds tremendous value to our business. Over the past four years, we've welcomed some outstanding young talent into our organization through this program, and witnessing their growth and development has been immensely fulfilling in many ways. Our internship program is designed to be straightforward yet impactful. It spans over 12 months, during which time our interns rotate through three different departments, spending four months in each. This immersive experience gives them a comprehensive understanding of our operations and hopefully helps them to identify the direction they'd like to take their careers. Starting my career via a similar program, I know firsthand how beneficial it can be for young individuals starting their careers. I would absolutely urge business leaders from all sizes to invest time into young people who are starting their careers. Thanks Louise 😃 I had the pleasure of actively participating in Group AMANA internship and #Emiratization program. There is a great talent within the Emirati youth, and with the right opportunities, their potential can truly shine, making the future look bright. Interacting with the new joiners and interns, I tried focusing on some "uncommon" skills. The incredibly powerful tool of #activelistening to understand the others, focusing on the present moment without distraction. I conducted specific training on this, and people loved it! How mastering own emotions and understanding those of the people around you through #emotionalintelligence can drive success for everyone involved. The importance of communication, building trust, and fostering relationships with active #teambuilding. Working together as a team is often more productive than sitting alone in front of your laptop all day. I emphasized the importance of #understandingcontracts, whether it's a tenancy agreement, a mortgage, a construction contract or the privacy policy of a new app. Knowing what rights and obligations you have is a crucial skill in any discipline. This experience made me realize that it is also critical to recognize the revolutionary force that Gen. Z brings to the workplace. Consider the attitude of new Olympic athletes, whether they win or not—they are generally humble, appreciative of the experience, and thankful for the opportunity. What are your thoughts about this?
