Greenavon's director, Harley Parfitt, had the opportunity to capture this photo during a Tuk Tuk ride during a recent trip to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Equipped with the Atmotube PRO (https://buff.ly/46AROf3), a portable AQ monitor that uses a sensor that has MCERTS for PM1, Harley was able to undertake a spot-check of local air quality. Whilst the recorded concentrations of PM2.5 exceeded the WHO annual average guideline, the Atmotube PRO's air quality score was classified as Good! (Probably because the ATMOtube PRO doesn't monitor NOx/NO2, which is the principal pollutant associated with road traffic!). #AirQuality #EnvironmentalAwareness *Edit: worth noting that the Atmotube Pro itself doesn’t have MCERTS!

Fanquip case study. In 2018, Sydney Trains recognised a critical need to enhance ventilation at Broadmeadow's No.1 Rail Building. Following a thorough assessment, Fanquip proposed an extraction solution to ensure safe emission levels and stable air temperatures during train operations. Unlock the power of the multi-objective weather routing for real-time voyage optimisation and fuel savings ✅ The latest version of Syroco EfficientShip uses advanced technology to provide real-time optimised routes for ships. It considers various factors and constraints, including weather conditions, operational considerations, and routing algorithms. The algorithms aim at minimising fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Once a route is selected, EfficientShip guides the crew in real-time on how to best navigate the route. 👉🏼 Link to full post in comments #EfficientShip #maritime #decarbonisation #savingfuel #emissionsreduction

In every water desalination plant after the intake pumping the sea water, this water is filtered by a unit called a Duel Media Filter (DMF). this video which was produced by Veolia Water Technologies describes the main components of the DMF unit and the outstanding simulation of the three main sequences which are the Filtration process, the Backwash process, and the rinsing. The DMF consists of suction and discharge of the backwash line, air scoring line, purge valve, and basins each basin has 3 layers of filtration media (Gravel, Sand, Anthracite), and dual media filters are below this media. This video can save more than 30 minutes of explaining. #WaterDesalination #Waterfiltration #Commissioning #MechanicalEngineering #DOOSAN #Veolia
