Did you know that it's not mandatory to use UL listed products for NFPA 72 compliant installations? NFPA 72 code permits the use of equipment of the same or higher quality than described in this code, therefore, products certified under EN 54 - like Bosch fire alarm systems - ensure compliance with both standards! Discover more in our latest video where Bosch and VdS experts debunk misconceptions and reveal why EN certified solutions are the perfect match for NFPA 72 requirements! Why do infrared inspections matter? Infrared (IR) scans are an essential tool for identifying potential issues in electrical systems before they result in costly failures or hazardous conditions. Starting in 2023, NFPA 70B made it mandatory that all electrical equipment be inspected using infrared thermography technology at least every 12 months. By integrating IR scans into regular maintenance practices, facilities can enhance overall safety, reduce the risk of equipment failure, and extend the service life of electrical equipment. #IR #IRScan #infrared #NFPA #70B #electricalsafety #workplacesafety #maintenance
