#Coins No longer just pocket change. The #IPO was the dream path for many, a sign of excellence and dominance in the competitive landscape. The #ICO is now that runway, no longer an alternative - but the prize. More available markets, larger available audiences across international reach, all with the same goals. Everyone gains the access to the ICO. The main burden to the IPO is related to costs and of course the regulatory road map. Which leads to a limited trading ecosystem - yes it was more than satisfactory for the longest time. It may be that in order for the legacy Stock Echanges to compete they may have to bring back small cap entry Token listings that are part of the new Exchange Ecosystems to participate. #StockExchanges #CryptoExchanges #SecondaryMarkets

👉 BREAKING: S&P 500 stock buybacks hit $237 billion in Q1 2024, the 3rd highest amount in history. This is up 10% year-over-year and 8% compared to Q4 2023. The surge is largely due to the 20 largest companies in the S&P 500 which accounted for 51% of all buybacks. There have only been two quarters in history with more stock buybacks, Q4 2021 and Q1 2022. MicroStrategy ‘s playbook will soon be thought in financial classes as the single greatest short on the global financial system. Their formula? Accumulate a negative balance of the weak asset (the dollar) to buy as much of the hard asset (bitcoin) as possible. Use the stock premium over the asset price to issue more debt and buy more bitcoin. Simple, yet incredibly effective. Dollars are toxic capital; however, without capital you are basically dead. Most companies fail because they are forced to expand without having a strong treasury. As soon as one acquisition fails, they go bankrupt. Bitcoin transforms the conventional financial strategies as it allows firms to build up a capital reserve and focus on their industry instead of diversifying into unrelated fields.

I was worried about what to obsess on now that the ETF is approved and figured it would be the #halving. Now, I think I know. In this Finextra report [linked in comments], it seems #USDC issuer, Circle, will be filing for an #IPO. From the report: 'Circle Internet Financial, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering (IPO). In a short statement confirming the filing, Circle says the number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined. The IPO is expected to take place after the SEC completes its review process, subject to market and other conditions.' So, this seems like something that will get a lot of attention. More than that, it signals an era of big moves, innovations, announcements and developments on the horizon. Each will be separate from the upcoming #bitcoin halving, while also resultant from that part of the protocol - just like yesterday's news.

In the last eleven trading days, The Nine inflow has been $8.1b, with an average of $736m per day.
