Becoming a Roboticist Day 4: #ROS2 Path Planning with Nav2 Using yesterdays explored map, I was able to use Nav2 and Rviz to move the krytn bot to any desired goal on the map. I set a 2D goal pose and used the global path (shown in green) for overall navigation alongside a local cost map/path to avoid nearby obstacles. Nav2 is surely a sophisticated yet powerful tool!

As the UAV industry looks towards the future, one of the most pressing challenges is increasing flight time and payload. I have created a URDF file for a collaborative robot (cobot) arm and successfully simulated it in RViz using ROS2. This simulation allows us to control all the joints and understand the robot's behavior before deploying it in a real-world environment. By using a joystick for control, we can perform a wide range of advanced tasks based on our preferences.#ROS2 #ROBOTICARM #technology
