Preventing heat stress involves staying hydrated, wearing lightweight clothing, taking regular breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas, and gradually acclimating to hot environments. Recognizing symptoms early, such as dizziness, headache, and nausea, is crucial, and immediate cooling and hydration are essential first aid responses. Employers should ensure workplace safety by providing proper training, monitoring conditions, and implementing cooling measures to protect workers from heat-related illnesses.
