According to Statistica Capital, BYD Auto Co. has surpassed Tesla to become the world’s largest manufacturer of electric vehicles. In 2024, Tesla made 1,774,442 EVs vs. BYD’s 1,777,965. BYD or Build Your Dreams, is a Warren Buffet-backed EV manufacturer that has quietly become the world's largest Electric Vehicle brand in the world. In their recent quarterly report, Tesla revealed 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, signaling the challenges faced in the current electric vehicle (#EV) market. The shift in consumer demand towards hybrid vehicles, particularly those offered by Toyota, is 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀.
