🌍 Leading the Transition to a Circular Economy 🌍 I am proud to have led the transition from Wa'ed's side in supporting adopting the Product as a Service (PaaS) model, a key pillar of the circular economy. This innovative shift is more than just a business model; it's a solution that reduces waste, extends product lifecycles, and fosters sustainability. The circular economy is not just a buzzword – it's a necessity. With e-waste becoming one of the fastest-growing global waste streams, it's crucial for businesses to rethink how products are designed, used, and disposed of. In fact, adopting circular economy principles could save over $1 trillion in material costs by 2025 alone, according to McKinsey. By moving from ownership to subscription-based services, the PaaS model enhances the reuse and recycling of electronics, helping to reduce e-waste and conserve valuable resources.
