National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) issued a circular dated 29th August 2024 introducing a new product eKYC setu system. The eKYC Setu System facilitates regulated entities of the Reserved Bank of India (RBI) to do eKYC for verification of identity of a client or its beneficial owner through online Aadhaar authentication under Aadhaar act. REs Onboarding on the eKYC setu system will make client validation more cost and time effective.
