Flashcubes, once a staple of consumer photography, are tiny, bright bulbs that lit up family photos in the 1960s and 70s. Using a vintage 110 camera, I brought these retro gems to life at a wedding vendor holiday party, photographing friends and colleagues. This setup was a conversation starter, some seeing them for the first time. From their bright bursts of light to their nostalgic appeal, these little cubes remind us of how far photography has come. In this video, I share the process of working with flashcubes and vintage 110 film, highlighting their quirks and the creative joy they offer.
