Today’s all about celebrating one of the simplest yet most powerful gestures we have: the high five! Whether it’s closing a deal, reaching a personal milestone, or just getting through a tough day, high fives symbolize encouragement, partnership, and success. 👏 In honor of National High Five Day, let's spread some positivity and recognition. Tag someone who deserves a virtual high five for their hard work, resilience, or for being an incredible support system. Let’s show some love and appreciation for the people who lift us up and make every day a bit brighter. 💖🙌 And remember, every high five you give or receive is a reminder that we're all in this together, celebrating wins, big and small. So, here’s a BIG virtual high five to each and every one of you amazing souls! Keep shining, keep striving, and keep supporting each other. 🖐️ #NationalHighFiveDay #SpreadPositivity #CelebrateSuccess #VirtualHighFive #CommunityLove #KimberleyBorgens #BeALegacy

Supporting individuals to find understanding of who they are as a person, to find understanding to concerns they have, growing self-esteem and confidence.
Client: l don’t know what l want or what l want to talk about. Me: That’s okay, we can sit and work together with the unknown to bring it into the known. Client: l took some photos of me and l really like them. Me: That sounds like confidence. Client: Yes, l feel more confident. We never know what our clients will bring to their sessions. It’s not all about being alongside your client through their pain of the known and unknown. There are also moments of celebrating the wins that lay beyond that pain. This is why l do what l do 😊

How do you feel when someone asks you about your wins? If you’ve just launched a fabulous new product, smashed a sales goal or secured a dream speaking gig, it feels fantastic to share your news. Those moments are amazing and absolutely worth celebrating. But what about when you've been focused on quieter (but oh-so-crucial) tasks – like sending emails, delivering client work on time, prepping for a webinar or posting content? Would you shout about those? Or would you stay quiet and feel, well, maybe a bit inadequate, feeling you’ve nothing significant to share? But here’s the thing: it’s consistently delivering these everyday activities that actually builds our businesses. And maybe if we start celebrating these achievements as wins too, we’ll boost our confidence rather than feeling like we’re not doing enough. We might even find ourselves going a bit further, a bit faster. Until suddenly those massive ‘big’ wins that seemed out of reach are only few mini-steps away. Now I think that’s something to truly shout about! So, this week I’m going to celebrate my micro-wins – however tiny. Will you join me? I’d love to hear and celebrate yours too. 🙌

Hey there, post-Labor Day pals! 🎉 Let me spill the beans on today's win – it's a juicy one! After a whole month of back-and-forth with a client, we finally got the thumbs-up and a big fat check from the bank! 💰 But let me backtrack a bit and dish out the deets. Imagine us in a marathon of sample swapping and bargaining with this client. They had some doubts about one of our products – it looked a bit too much like another one. 🤔 But hey, we didn't let that rattle us! They put our product through the wringer, testing it like crazy. And guess what? It aced every test! 🏆 Now, let me tell you, the feeling is sweeter than winning a pie-eating contest! 🥧 It's like a big, warm hug of satisfaction, proving the doubters wrong and sealing the deal with a smile. 😄 But this win is more than just a victory dance. It's about showing what our team's made of – guts, creativity, and never giving up. It's about building trust, one sample at a time, and making partnerships that last. 💪 So here's to teamwork, bouncing back, and celebrating the heck out of our successes! Let's keep rocking it together! 🚀 #WinningWednesday #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork

How many tips can we squeeze in one tip? I did my best :) Because as a group psychotherapist, I know how groups have everything that their members need. We are all auxiliary egos for each other, and the question is: Can we play together? Thanks to Dr. Franz for having me in this episode. I always learn a lot from Tim, and I think the way we collaborate or co-create each time is a great example of how our strengths and weaknesses come together to achieve our superordinate goals as a team 😍
Another week of Making Team Projects Work with Lauren Vicker. This week's team tip is from Ozge Kantas Yorulmazlar, Ph.D., CP, PAT, a colleague within my department at St. John Fisher University. Her tip is about how to utilize all the different perspectives within a team, because a team "has everything in it" to succeed!
