We're absolutely thrilled that our Founder, Katie Litchfield, had the chance to speak at Randstad's Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN) event, "Paving the Way for Women Leaders", live-streamed globally to over 7,000 attendees. This topic is so close to our hearts, and we wanted to share a bit about why it means so much to us. When Katie founded WeQual, it wasn’t just a great business idea, it was a personal passion, as it is for every single one of us here. We get to see the incredible talent women bring to the table every day, and the game-changing impact they have on the biggest companies out there. The insights Katie shared at the event were born from years of dedicated experience and tenacity for our cause. Attendees were inspired by the practical advice they took away and the real-life stories of women who had trodden the leadership path before them. A truly unique experience. Here are five takeaways from Katie's talk that really stood out: ♦ Be Seen: Make sure your achievements don’t go unnoticed. This is the event I attended yesterday hosted by Asociación Española del Transporte and Universidad Camilo José Cela, presented by 🔸Marta Serrano Pérez, Director of the Degree in Transportation and Logistics 🔸Juan Manuel Martinez Mourin President of AET It was energizing to see so many industry leaders, especially talented women, driving change in transportation. We need more female leadership! Massive thanks to the University Camilo José Cela, the Spanish Transportation Association, and all the incredible speakers who shared their insights. Highlights included thought-provoking panels moderated by 🔸Carmelo Garrido, Board Member of the Spanish Association of AET 🔸Jorge Aldegunde Piñeiro, Vice President of the AET featuring industry leaders like 🔸Beatriz Ibáñez Basterra, Director of public Unit at Manpower 🔸María Dolores Ruiz Calavera, Supply chain and Business Unit Manager at TIBA 🔸Ruth Hernández García, Director of People and Culture at Alsa 🔸Marilo Peris, Co-founder at Foro de Logística and Board Member of MELYT - Mujeres en Logistica y Transporte 🔸Susana Magro, Deputy General Director of Planning, Mobility, and Transportation at Ayuntamiento de Madrid 🔸Mariuxi Chávez, our VP of Sales for Europe and Asia at ORBCOMM. who discussed female leadership, the imbalance in the sector, why it exists, and how we can close the gap, among other exciting topics. A big shout-out to Tomas Garcia Martin (Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Science at Universidad Camilo José Cela) and Juan Manuel Martinez Mourin for closing the event with insightful remarks on the impact on our sector. Learning about MELYT - Mujeres en Logistica y Transporte's recent foundation was also very interesting. I can't wait to see the initiatives they will bring!⚡ And why not mention it? Last week I had the privilege of attending the #WomenAutomotiveNetwork panel discussion at #Automechanika #Frankfurt, the #VLS industry's largest trade show. The debate on "How to Attract and Retain Talent in the Automotive Industry" was both #inspiring and #enlightening. It was a great honour and opportunity to share insights and learn from others on the importance of embracing disruptive recruitment technologies🔧, fostering diversity and inclusion🌍, and building strong employer brands🏆 to shape the future of our industry. 💡 This discussion reaffirmed that the achievement of women in leadership roles must be aligned with the broader vision of the company for #innovation, #inclusivity and long-term #success. Exciting Highlights from the Women in Healthcare Staffing Leadership Panel! 🌟   Last month, I had the privilege of participating in an empowering panel discussion alongside industry trailblazers at Staffing Industry Analysts Healthcare Staffing Summit in Las Vegas.   The session, moderated by Ursula Williams, Chief Operating Officer at SIA, delved into crucial aspects of executive leadership success, resonating with the groundbreaking themes from "Together We Rise."   👥 Collaborating with inspiring leaders and entrepreneurs, Candace Clow, CEO Marvel Medical Staffing, Liz Hale, CEO MPLT Healthcare, and Kerry Norman, Executive V.P. Operations, CHG Healthcare, was not only insightful but truly transformative.   Our combined wisdom and experiences highlighted the critical importance of supporting and empowering women in leadership.   🚀 During the panel, I had the opportunity to share insights on work-life balance and the value of fostering a team of intrapreneurs and independent thinkers at my company Power Personnel.   “For me, work-life balance is more about flexibility and managing my work and my life at the same time. I tailor my work so that it fits my life, ambitions, and goals.”   As we navigate the challenges of our dynamic industry, it is clear that diversity and leadership development are key drivers of positive change.             🌐 The session explored strategies for overcoming barriers, fostering leadership development, achieving work-life balance, and building networks for women in healthcare staffing leadership roles. 🌟 Event Recap: First-Ever WHU FEM & FS Women in Business Collaboration 🌟 On Monday, 25th of March, we had the incredible opportunity to witness the first collaboration between FEM. - Female Leadership at WHU and Frankfurt School Women in Business. The event centred around an inspiring panel discussion titled "Women Breaking Barriers, investing in your Future: Building a Power Network". This gathering not only celebrated the strength and achievements of women but also provided invaluable insights for future career advancements 🚀   • Empowering Discussions: Our panel featured distinguished WHU and FS alumni who shared their journeys, challenges, and victories. Our speakers offered the participants a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience. • Engagement and Networking: The event fostered an atmosphere of engagement, allowing attendees to partake in informal discussions, facilitating the building of a powerful network. Conversations flowed as freely as the drinks, making for a truly collaborative environment. • Cultural and Culinary Delights: The get-together was enhanced by the addition of Hessian food and drinks, culminating at the renowned Apfelwein Wagner. This combination of cultural and culinary experiences provided a perfect backdrop for continued conversations and networking. • Building a Power Network: The importance of creating and nurturing a professional network was a central theme.
