Don’t let the fear of major excavation efforts slow you down. Call on Jōb to get the job done. A refiner in the western United States needed to optimize routing and minimize new supports in a congested part of their facility. To eliminate atmospheric relief, our team prepared a challenging #pipestress model and routed FCC ARVs to compensate for tower growth of four inches at 700 feet: https://bit.ly/3S11N9v. #engineeringyourfuture #refining

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐏𝐒𝟏𝟖 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 We’re proud to spotlight a complex project completed in April that demanded innovation, precision, and quick thinking. Our team was tasked with performing stress analysis and repairs on a remote section of a major pipeline, overcoming a variety of technical and logistical challenges. Key aspects of the project included: ✔️ Constructing winter access and an ice bridge over a river ✔️ Brushing, mulching, and grading a steep slope for safe access and excavation ✔️ Completing excavation while simultaneously conducting a survey to assess and monitor stress ✔️ Performing critical repairs, including recontouring the pipeline ✔️ Supporting advanced repair techniques, including Petro Sleeve and Armour Wrap installations ✔️ Backfilling and compacting materials to prevent future pipeline stress ✔️ Installing slope indicators for ongoing stress monitoring 🔍 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: The remote location allowed ground access only from December to April, placing pressure on the project team to meet the deadline. Through the expert leadership of our Project Managers and the team's adaptability, we completed the work on time, ensuring the pipeline’s long-term stability and integrity. This project stands as a testament to our team’s capability to execute under tight timelines and harsh conditions, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and excellence.
