Can we infuse our algorithm with human input – with our humanity – to make our platform more welcoming? A few years ago, we asked ourselves this question at Pinterest and the answer was: yes. Today, I was honored to address the audience at Dublin Tech Summit and speak about how we’re ensuring that AI is a positive force for good online – by doubling down on human touch rather than easing up on it. I also sat down with members of Pinterest Engineering ‘s incredible Dublin team to discuss their work, gain insights from their experiences, and of course, thank them for all the awesome work they are doing to make the internet a better place online. #dublin #ai
