Pinterest clearly didn't want to miss out on the trend! Following the footsteps of Google and Meta, Pinterest has come out with Performance +. On paper, the name seems to take inspiration from Meta's Advantage + and Google's Performance Max! 😁😏 Advertising on Pinterest is a good option, but it should be exercized with constant monitoring and caution. I love reading this. We don't talk about Pinterest enough, and we most definitely should. Pinterest reported a significant 23% year-over-year revenue increase in the first quarter of 2024, reaching $740 million, attributing the success to investments in shoppability and AI. The platform experienced a 12% growth in global monthly active users, with over 40% of users belonging to Gen Z. As a marketer it is important to take track of these kinds of trends, so we can adapt and become successful in growing markets.
