We are thrilled to announce that P1 Director, Professor Serge Belongie, has been appointed to the Expert Group of the Digital Taskforce for Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector, established by the Danish Ministry of Digitalization in collaboration with KL and Danske Regioner - Danish Regions. The Digital Taskforce aims to position Denmark’s public sector as a global leader in the application of artificial intelligence. The Expert Group brings together leaders from diverse sectors, demonstrating Denmark’s commitment to fostering collaboration between the public sector, private industry, and academia. This ambition aligns closely with our vision of developing human-centric AI through participatory design, emphasizing ethical, responsible, and citizen-focused approaches. The initiative is a key part of Denmark’s broader strategy of using AI to optimize and enhance the quality of the public sector for the benefit of citizens and businesses alike. Derfor har Danmark fået en Digital Taskforce for kunstig intelligens. Regeringen, KL og Danske Regioner - Danish Regions har nu nedsat en ekspertgruppe med repræsentanter fra den offentlige sektor, erhvervslivet og forskningsmiljøer, der skal give strategisk og faglig sparring til Taskforcens arbejde.
