What does Matthew 5:4 mean? At the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus is teaching a series of statements often referred to as the Beatitudes. Each starts with the words "blessed are." Blessing, in this sense, refers to a declaration of what is good and why. It does not mean that the blessed person will feel happy, necessarily. The difference between happiness and being "blessed" is especially obvious in this verse. This beatitude states that those who mourn are blessed. Those who mourn, by definition, are not happy. Jesus wants His followers to understand that those who experience mourning are not hopeless. Within the context of Jesus' teaching about the coming kingdom of heaven, those who mourn may do so because of their own sin or because of the sin of Israel. The Jewish people experience a state of mourning under the harsh oppression and occupation of Rome. Those faithful to God and Scripture understood this to be a result of Israel's sin and unfaithfulness, since God had promised to prosper them when they were faithful and to judge them when they were not. Both John the Baptist and Jesus preached that Israel must repent. Repentance involves sadness as we recognize and confess our sinful selfishness. Those who mourn while repenting of their sin are blessed, however, because the kingdom of heaven will come; they will be rescued. The season of judgment will end. Not all commentators agree that Jesus is referring only to mourning that comes with repentance from sin. Much sadness in life, of course, is not the result of sin. It comes from living on a planet ruled by death. Of all who mourn, those in Christ are blessed because they will be comforted by God in the here and now (2 Corinthians 1:3–7) and free from mourning for eternity (Revelation 21:4). Amen🙏

💧💦MORNiNG DEW💦💧 TOPIC: The dynamics of knowing God. (Part 1) TEXT: Psalm 46:10 KJV [10] Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 📘NOTE📘 ✍️ The walk of born again believers demand deep knowledge and understanding of matters of the kingdom to sustain their sojourn with God. ✍️ According to Daniel 11:32b, our strength and exploits in this kingdom is tied to the knowledge of our king we contain. ✍️ The way you react to a situation often serves as a testament to whether you truly know God or not. ✍️ Also, your reaction to circumstances reflects the exact nature of your knowledge about God. ✍️ Knowing God can be categorized into two distinct ways: 1️⃣ knowing God in your head 2️⃣ knowing God at your heart. ✍️ This two approach by which you can know God, have different consequent effect(s) when faced with adversity. However, it is expedient you strive to know God at all cost. ✍️ Beloved, much exposition will be giving in our subsequent series concerning each of the above stated way by which one can know God and it resultant manifestation. PRAYER: Receive grace to know God in the name of Jesus Christ.

The One That Will Prevail Whatever comes from above will prevail. Genesis 7:19-20 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. [20] Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered." Just as the waters prevailed and extended higher than the highest peaks, so must grace extend beyond the reaches of all that is earthly. The Power of Grace Over Carnality As all that is carnal and earthy are conquered at death, so must grace conquer all that is sensual and carnal in men. For death, the death of the Cross, manifests by grace, as it is written of Christ too. Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. If it is of the earth, it can and will be conquered. If it is not of heaven, then it is expendable. If it came not from God, it will be conquered; it will die: it may not go back to God. On the other hand, if it came from above, it will prevail, it will be above all: for that which is from above must be above all. John 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: HE THAT COMETH FROM HEAVEN IS ABOVE ALL. #TheSimplifier

In whatsoever you do always disregard any suggestion and dilute any desire to live a life that is fake just because you want to impress people. Many people have attracted frustration to themselves because they wanted to impress people so they blended to the tune of living a kind of life that is void of originality. Living a life that really counts and attracts divine appraisal entails living a kind of life that is not just after impressing people by expressing a life of divine purpose, passion and persistence. Don't adjust your life to the standard of others because you want their commendation but rather diligently align yourself to live the kind of life God has destined you to live. Refuse to allow what people say to sway you away from living the God-kind of life. Jesus Christ our perfect example modelled a kind of life that was not just concerned about impressing people but ultimately expressing the Godlike nature consistently. That is why we have been mandated by God to live for Him if we must fulfill His purposes for our lives. Always embrace originality as your trademark and exude exceptionality in whatsoever you do in so much that God is pleased ultimately. #Originality #Enlightenment #Impactpreneur

💧💦MORNiNG DEW💦💧 TOPIC: You are not an afterthought.(Part I) TEXT: Jeremiah 1:4-5 NLT [4] The lord gave me this message: [5] “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” 📘NOTE📘 ✍️ Beloved, I bring to you this morning brief truths about your uniqueness from God's perspective owing to how your original architecture was formulated in God's intention. ✍️ Your ability to ascertain and imbibe these truths will foster a positive sense of self esteem and confidence, which will harness your divine potentials for the glory and service of God and benefit of humanity. ✍️ In accordance to God's plan for your life, you are not an afterthought. The following are the reasons; (1) You were known before you were formed. - This implies that, your formation in the womb of your mother was preceded by a careful consideration of the intricate faculties of your entirety. - How you will look like? Who you will be? What you will be? Where you will be?, these were all taken care of by God before He initiated your formation in your mother's womb. ✍️ Therefore, never in your lifetime belittle or look down on yourself that you are nobody. ✍️ God in His fullness as the supreme one, took time to know you before He formed you. PRAYER: Receive the grace to remain positive about yourself irrespective of your current state in the name of Jesus Christ.

💧💦MORNiNG DEW💦💧 TOPIC: Revere God. TEXT: Job 4:6 [6] Doesn’t your reverence for God give you confidence? (NLT) 📘NOTE📘 ✍️ Reverence for God (the fear of God) on the part of man has diverse profit attached to it. ✍️ One of these profit is that, it gives us confidence in whatever we do. ✍️ The reference scripture for today is asking a very intriguing question, thus, doesn’t your reverence for God give you confidence? ✍️ It is absolutely an error to render sincere reverence to God and still live/do things in fear. The truth is, if you truly reverence God, you will ensure the right thing is always done in the right way at the right time. ✍️ The confidence we attain from our reverence to God is predicated on the platform of the wisdom the fear of God gives us (Proverbs 1:7). ✍️ This wisdom place us in the better position of overcoming any scheme of our adversary because the wisdom is better than strength (Ecclesiastes 9:16). ✍️ Beloved, I entreat you to continue to revere God in all facet of your life for it is very important and profiting. PRAYER: God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

YES Beloved, ONLY one thing NEEDS Your Wholehearted BEST PREPARATION EVER, before it Occurs is YOUR DEATH! (Matthew 16:26). Rest ALL Other things of the Earth is, NOT that Very IMPORTANT! So STOP WAITING for it, but Rather, START & REMAIN PREPARED for it! (Romans 6:23,10:9), (2 Timothy 4:7-8). Because WE NEVER KNOW, When that Surprise will Happen! (Ecclesiastes 9:12), (James 4:14). FYI, Your Physical DEATH on Earth is NOT the END of Your Existence but Beginning of Your Never Ending ETERNITY, Either in HEAVEN Or HELL, Based simply on Your CHOICE! (Hebrews 9:27), (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14), (Matthew 7:21-23). 1. [Romans 6:23] For the wages of SIN is DEATH; but the Gift of GOD is Eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD. 2. [Romans 10:9].. IF thou shalt Confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt Believe in thine heart that GOD hath Raised HIM from the DEAD, Thou shalt be SAVED. 3. [Matthew 5:19] WHOSOEVER therefore shall BREAK one of these LEAST commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the LEAST in the kingdom of heaven: but WHOSOEVER shall DO and TEACH them, the SAME shall be called "GREAT" in the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. Truth. Wisdom. Choice. Share. #StopWaitingButStartPreparingForDEATH #BESTpreparationIsRequiredForDEATH #YourDEATHisBeginningOfYourETERNITY #ETERNITYhasOnlyHEAVENorHELLoption #DontStandBeforeGODlikeAjokerPrepare #JESUSdiedForUsJESUSlovesUsKnowThis #KeepDoingGOODtoALLuntilYourEND
