Remember - Remote sales jobs receive 3x more applications than in-office/hybrid roles. Meaning if you're looking for a remote sales role, you've got to stand out! Here's what we suggest: Optimize your resume, make sure your LinkedIn profile is filled out completely, and most importantly build a brag book with Pitchfolio (this is your chance to stand out!!) Hiring managers want to see extra initiative - why not do that by showing them what you bring to the table?

Recruiter: I think you’re a great fit for our full cycle sales role. $100k salary + uncapped commissions. Candidate: Sounds awesome! Does this offer a remote option? Recruiter: No, it’s 100% in office. Candidate: Is there any option for a hybrid schedule? That way, I can spend more time with family and doing the things I’m passionate about. Recruiter: Unfortunately, no. We require our reps to be in office. Candidate: I understand. I'm not sure if this would be the right fit for me then. There’s been a shift since covid. Salary is not the main priority in incentivizing professionals to land roles anymore. Professionals are looking for: - More time with family. - Looking for greater balance. - Enjoying doing what they love. - Want to make the most of their time. You can’t put a price tag on happiness, flexibility, and time. Who’s with me?

Jokes aside, it’s surprising how many people still struggle with email etiquette. We have AI and Grammarly, yet these tools aren't being used as much as they should be, especially in fields where professionalism is key. Many people today are looking for remote jobs. One thing that can set you apart is how you carry yourself online, and a big part of that is how you write and communicate. Here’s a quick tip: ➔ Use Grammarly to check your emails for errors. ➔ Be concise and clear in your communication. ➔ Always review your email before sending it. In a remote work environment, your writing is your first impression. Make it count. If you’re applying for jobs, a well-written email can make a huge difference. P.S. Imagine landing a $140k-$160k closer role within a week of joining Remote Closing Club—WITHOUT the grind of applying for jobs on LinkedIn. Here’s how 2 of our members secured this opportunity, complete with a $36k base salary, by following a streamlined, insider process: 1. Connecting with the Recruiter - I started by speaking directly with the company’s internal recruiter, explaining how RCC equips and places skilled remote closers. This saves them hours of filtering through LinkedIn candidates and guarantees access to trained salespeople. It also allowed me to vet the role before presenting it to our members. 2. Sharing the Opportunity - Once I confirmed the role, I posted the job description within RCC for our members to review and apply. 3. Personalised Introduction - I introduced both members to the recruiter, emphasising their RCC training and previous experience, which set them apart from other applicants. 4. Interviews - The two members then spoke with the recruiter and sales manager, did a mock call test and both were hired—one of them securing the role just a week after joining RCC. The role is really interesting in the sense that it comes with a $32k base salary, even though the sell is still 100% ‘the remote closing way’—no prospecting, no cold outreach, just the closer attending 5-7 prequalified zoom calls every day, which they'll close on that same 45 minute call, or in 2 calls, max. Without RCC, their applications might have gone unseen. But with our direct connection, they moved straight to the front of the line. The rest was history. DM me “CLOSER,” and I’ll share the next steps on how you can join Remote Closing Club.

Finding a fully remote SDR role Is proving rather difficult... I expected for this to be hard, but I didn't know just how hard until recently. I only have the ability to work remote. I don't live In a large metropolitan area, and I don't have the means to just relocate to one. So even Hybrid isn't an option for me. However, with this being said I wont let this discourage me. I'll keep applying to what I can find. I'll keep reaching out to people within the companies. I will stay optimistic and consistent. I learn well, I learn fast, and I can adapt. So I know I can become a great SDR and move up to an Account executive. I just need the chance to show It! Tips on where to find fully remote jobs and tips on how to land Interviews would be greatly appreciated.

Platforms like Pangian, Nodesk and We Work Remotely can indeed be helpful in finding remote job opportunities, it's important to understand that securing a remote job often involves a multifaceted approach. While reaching out to individuals within a company on LinkedIn and asking for a referral can be a part of this approach, it's not the sole or guaranteed method for obtaining a remote job. Connect with professionals who work at your target companies or in your desired industry. Engage with their content, join relevant LinkedIn groups, and participate in discussions to expand your network and raise your visibility.
