Last week we talked about what the Berry Amendment exactly means, but why does Massif choose to produce Berry Compliant garments? 🔵 Boosting American Industry - Manufacturing Berry Compliant clothing bolsters American industry and reinforces national economic security. Creating and maintaining jobs here at home contributes to a resilient workforce. 🔵 Ensuring Safety - Berry Compliant garments are produced using materials that adhere to stringent American safety and quality standards, ensuring Massif gear is of the highest caliber, delivering the reliable and durable goods essential for optimal performance. 🔵 Strengthening Domestic Supply Chains: The Berry Amendment ensures that American companies can secure government contracts, thereby reinforcing the domestic supply chain. This creates stability within the supply chain and enables companies to continuously invest in their operations and drive innovation in new products. By producing FR gear that sits at the pinnacle of innovation and craftsmanship, Massif garments and their sourcing and production processes represent our commitment to American values, and the people who uphold them.

Growth. When I started this "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" of being the CEO of a local company to what is now a leading national brand, we had one production line in one plant that was about 30,000 square feet in size. We had two flavors - sweet and unsweet tea - and there were three SKUs that we made three or four days a week in one six-hour shift. The plant was run by about 15 people who literally turned off the lights when we made all that was ordered. Today, we have three manufacturing and distribution centers (and a fourth opening later this year in #Spartanburg) that collectively are almost a million square feet, employ about 200 people EACH and run 24/7, 363 days a year. The pride I have when I visit any one of these facilities makes me want to bust my buttons. What our TEAm of remarkable People has done building out this business is nothing short of remarkable. How did we do it? 🚀 Putting People First - meaning putting People before Profits. 🚀 Honest Relationships - with our associates, customers, and fans (yes, that means saying NO if you can't deliver excellence to any of your stakeholders!) 🚀 Being relentless about our Culture. 🚀 Delivering Excellence to our Retail Partners - when you compete with the biggest names in food/bev that is table stakes. 🚀 Being Delicious Every Time or your Money Back. It's not a hard recipe to articulate, but it's a hard way to live amid massive growth and scaling. So, when we won the Birmingham Business Journal Excellence in Manufacturing award yesterday, it was extra extra sweet to be recognized for what we do to elevate manufacturing in our home state of Alabama. HATs off TEAm Milo's for being winners. I sure am proud of each of you, the alumni, retail partners, suppliers, and so many other stakeholders that have been instrumental in getting us here, and the many lives that we get to make sweeter because we exist. ❤️ #BrewingALegacy #DrinkMilos

There have been mergers in California and now on the East Coast. Will the great state of Texas be next?!? It might be worth researching the benefits of such a merger solely for operational reasons. Price increases are not the only option when handling the rise in operation costs.
Two New England craft-centric distributors are expected to merge operations. Craft Collective and Homegrown Distribution, which both have statewide coverage in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, “have reached a tentative agreement to combine operations, subject to regulatory approval,” leaders from both wrote in a letter to suppliers dated today obtained by Brewbound. “The purpose of our... MD Kingsbury, facilitating the provision of world leading machine tools to manufacturers across the UK and GCC
In this challenging manufacturing landscape, support from suppliers like Kingsbury becomes essential. Our team always endeavour to understand the intricacies of a customer's operations. This means we can tailor solutions and empower businesses to optimise performance by addressing the root cause of their problems. With this in mind, effective communication is essential. In recent months, we have focused our efforts on actively engaging with our customers to gain a deep understanding of their unique needs and obstacles. How? By hitting a nerve, asking quality questions, and allowing room for further exploration. I, for one, am eager to tackle difficult subjects directly because that is where true progress comes from - confronting the challenges head-on. #KingsburyUK #EngineeringExcellence #CustomerSatisfaction #CustomerSupport #UKmfg #UKManufacturing #ManufacturingSupplier #MachineSupplier #CNCMachines

What’s happening in the San Diego Industrial and R&D markets? Here’s a snippet from the feature article “A Period of Transition & Complacency” by Michael Mossmer, SIOR, from Voit’s Q4 San Diego Industrial Market report. It is predicted that building sale prices and asking lease rates will hold steady at these current levels, even in the face of more than two million square feet of industrial currently under construction, most of which is slated for completion this year in Otay Mesa. Multinational corporations continue the “nearshoring” of their manufacturing in Tijuana, and their subsequent need for product distribution on the United States side favors Otay Mesa. This continued demand to locate manufacturing in Tijuana will help with maintaining a healthy absorption rate of new and existing industrial product in Otay Mesa and will help maintain upward pressure on industrial demand throughout San Diego County.” To read Michael’s editorial, get updated with current statistics, and see our forecast for the next year, view the Q4 2023 Industrial Market Report iBrochure at https://lnkd.in/gqE9azSN or the Q4 2023 R&D Market Report iBrochure at https://lnkd.in/g3rwAHpe. #voitrealestate #voitsandiego #commercialrealestate #socalrealestate #marketupdate #marketreports #sior #ccim
