In our most recent employee spotlight, Lauren Fisher reflects on her experience and time at Pivot. We're so grateful to have you as part of the team, Lauren. Thanks for everything you do! Could you share a bit about your background and experience before Pivot? My experience includes technical publishing, health systems, and open source software. I’ve been an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators, where I enjoy working with professionals in related roles both within my community and across the world. In addition, I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and spent a semester at the National University of Singapore. These experiences helped prepare me for working across various industries here at Pivot. What is your favorite aspect of working at Pivot? Our clients! We have amazing clients who are doing incredible things in the world. Whether the client needs a new intranet page or has a major leadership change, I am excited to be part of something bigger than myself. The project-based work is very motivating because it allows me to focus on what is most important for a specific amount of time. How do you like to spend your free time? Outdoors, especially with friends and family! I also love reading, writing (I set a personal challenge to complete a young adult novel last year), cooking, working out, and my newest venture, playing tennis. #Team #Communications #InternalCommunications
