You may not be aware of this, but here are Pixel Mosaic. We support a wide variety of media server options. Every media server product has its own strengths, much like each and every event has its own unique requirements. Add budget into the equation, and needed a service provider who can offer a variety of options to best serve your event. Today we're going to talk about three different media server options that Pixel Mosaic is currently offering to you. First, let's talk about the Cadillac of media servers. Skies, previously known as D3. Currently in our inventory we have the GX2. GX2C and VX4 models. These are all viable options among the disguised product line that serve different purposes in this ultra high end category. For instance, the VX4 can drive high volume of pixels while the GX2C is more designed for higher performance and generative content. Then there's the GX2 which is a more legacy model we use for dedicated director needs and for smaller scale, more cost effective applications. All of our disguised systems come with at least a 10 gig. Network Infrastructure and We offer a wide range of output cards including HDMI, Display Port and HDMI. Now for a more cost effective solution that doesn't require the size and scalability of a product like Disguise, we have several great monument systems to offer. First we have our 8K Decklink system which includes 2 racked Mac Pros with black Magic Decklink cards that can offer up to 4 frame synchronous 12G SDI outputs. These systems include 10 gig infrastructure for keeping main and backup systems. Linked up just like that. Next we have our Mac studio kits which include two M2 Ultramax studios along with 10 gig infrastructure. These kits are very portable which really saves on the shipping costs. OK, so we've talked about Maloumian, we've talked about disguise. Now let's talk about our range of custom media servers. Here at Pixel Mosaic we build custom media servers that provide a variety of solutions to unique challenges where off the shelf server technology can fall short. Now what's really exciting is we have recently built 2 brand new ultra high performing media servers that can outperform just about anything else on the market today. These servers feature some of the highest end CPU, GPU and motherboard technology available as well as a PCI based m. two rated storage solution offering absolute maximum data throughput and capacity. These mega machines give us 8 terabytes of total space per server to work with and offer 25 gig network capacity. These servers also feature an 8 inch touch screen on the front which allows us to run our custom proprietary server software that we will be releasing and making available soon. Latest project: Creation of a mimoLive® document for a point of information display in the lobby of the new headquarters of GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH. The display is 4K portrait. A Mac Mini M2 runs mimoLive. The info text can be changed via a mimoLive remote control surface. Access to the remote control is protected by Cloudflare Zero Trust. I'm controlling the Mac from 100 miles away. This setup is designed to run 24/7/365. The document is automatically launched by an AppleScript application when the Mac reboots. The screenshot was taken from my desktop Mac and shows from left to right: mimoLive remote control interface in a Chrome browser window, mimoLive document, program output. #liveproduction #POI #Display

Was talking with a very good friend and mentor about a home lab that he was getting into and felt obliged to share everything I have done with my current homelab setup. I think we all forget that homelabs are for exploring not just for practicing and learning real world scenarios. What I mean here is, you don't need to buy that same hardware you would be using at work. Explore a little and build out your own creations at a fraction of the cost with technologies that you would never get to play with otherwise! Welcome to my Home Lab server stack! When would you ever get to play with Threadrippers in the workplace? Server 2022 Datacenter cluster configuration with Hyper-V. Just upgraded to 2022 Datacenter with OEM purchased at a huge discount. At 128GB of RAM for all 3 servers guess how many VMs and how many different networks to play with are inside :)
