Hey there we are in Vegas and we have a custom watch out media server system with 25 gig network cards. We are going to be playing back a 35 minute feature film cinematic piece. Umm, for TIFF sequence it's 45 minutes. It was 35, well 35 minutes 45 minutes. It's 49,000 frames to sequence 1.3 terabytes we're about to do. The push where you take it online pushes everything to the display machine, and we're going to measure how long it actually takes to push 1.3 terabytes of data. So let's get to it. OK, so here's the rack, by the way. On the two green machines are production machines, two bottom ones are silvers. These are new bad boys we just recently built that have about the fastest data throughput you can have on a system. And like I said, they have 25 gig network cards in them. So we're going to see just how well these bad boys perform. So let's get to it, Matt, he's got a stopwatch here. He's going to bring this guy online whenever you want, whenever you're ready, ready, set, go. All right, you see the taskbar? Taskbar here, give me a nice things are happening. Let's check back. My estimation is this going to take about 20 minutes. Again, 1.3 terabytes on a 25 gig network. So we will check back in when it's getting towards the end, we'll figure out where we end up netting out to. OK, so we're getting close here. You can see the frames going up. It's going to get to like 49, I think 296 total frames. There we go. It is around 21 minutes and there's the 1st frame. Cool. Took 21 minutes. I estimate about 20 minutes, so I was pretty close. Not bad. 1.3 terabytes over 25 gig network Netted out to about 21 minutes of transfer time. So pretty sweet.
