When we faced the workforce reduction at Eptura, it was a really difficult time for all of us. I didn’t always have the answers, and the team often came to me looking for clarity, comfort, or just someone to talk to. Even though I didn’t have a clear picture of what was ahead, I tried to help them the best I could. We focused on being there for each other and supporting one another through the uncertainty. Some days were hard, but we kept pushing forward together. What got us through were a few simple things: Being Honest: I was open about what I knew, and I didn’t hide when I didn’t have all the answers. We leaned into honesty, even when it was tough. Celebrating Together: We found reasons to celebrate, no matter how small. Each win reminded us that we were still moving forward. Listening: I made it a point to really listen when someone came to me. Sometimes they didn’t need solutions—they just needed to be heard and understood. What mattered most was showing love and care for the people around me.
