One of the things I love most about being an internal auditor is the versatility of the role—it keeps every day dynamic and engaging! In the office, I adopt a professional, formal look as we dive into data, review processes, and ensure compliance. But when I’m on-site, I trade the suit for site gear, stepping right into the field to see operations firsthand. This balance between boardroom precision and on-ground insights is the beauty of internal audit—and it’s exactly why I chose this profession. #InternalAudit #VersatileCareer #AuditLife #FieldAndOffice

"The Power of Courtesy: A Small Gesture, A Big Impact 🤝" As #LeadAuditCoordinator for my employer i regularly deal with audit trainees. Following is the advice i offer them for #EffectiveClientManagement : - Be extra courteous in your coordination. Why? Because auditors always rely on clients’ cooperation to get the job done efficiently. Here’s the truth: 🔹 Clients are busy. They juggle multiple tasks, and audit requests may feel like “extra work” to them. 🔹 First impressions last. How you ask for information shapes their perception of you and your firm. 🔹 A little politeness goes a long way. Saying “I understand this may take some time, but I appreciate your support” can change the tone of the conversation. Be clear, respectful, and appreciative when making requests. Simple practices like: ✅ Asking for convenient times to meet or follow up ✅ Sending well-structured emails with clear priorities ✅ Thanking clients promptly for their time and effort Audits are a collaboration, and clients are your partners in achieving quality results. Treating them with courtesy builds trust, eases tension, and often makes the process smoother. Remember: Auditors are remembered not just for their findings, but also for their professionalism.

May is Internal Audit awareness month and I am proud to have identified as one. Do you know that one of the most crucial process internal auditing is the Fieldwork phase. It is the actual act of auditing that requires you to leave the luxury of a beautiful office space and fit into the act of the field. Herein you have to devise all necessary skills to ensure a success as any mistake or non attention to details may reduce the value of your report. #Mayinternalaudit. #Internalauditawarenessmonth #Internalaudit
