What if everyone had access to world-class training and coaching? We are honored to partner with Atlanta-based non-profit Noble Clay Fitness, who was founded to answer this very question. The physical and mental benefits of training, proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle are well-known but for many underserved communities, accessibility and affordability remain barriers. Noble Clay is changing this by providing world-class training and coaching that can empower the entire community and currently offers its programs at two facilities in the most underserved regions of the greater Atlanta area. “PLAE isn’t just about training; it’s about fostering potential and empowering lives,” stated Benjamin Davis, Founder and CEO at Noble Clay. “We needed a partner like PLAE because it’s not just a performance brand, they share our vision to transform ALL lives through wellness.” “Noble Clay was founded to provide world-class training and experiences that uplift the community, and we are honored to be a part of an organization and a project that seeks to bring light, hope, and transformation.” stated Brett Waits, Founder and CEO at PLAE. They are looking to transform lives and, at PLAE, we are proud to support Nobel Clay with our performance solutions that will enable each member of their community find their athlete within. EMPOWERING CHANGE: YRC PARTICIPATION PROGRAM REFLECTION Participating in the Youth Red Cross (YRC) program was an eye-opening journey that ignited a passion for community service within me. The program's diverse initiatives, spanning from blood donation drives to health awareness campaigns, provided a multifaceted approach to social impact. YRC's emphasis on education was evident through insightful training sessions, equipping us with essential skills and knowledge. What set this program apart was its commitment to hands-on experience. Engaging in activities like organizing health camps and cleanliness drives allowed me to directly contribute to the betterment of society. Collaboration was a cornerstone of the program, fostering a strong sense of teamwork. Working collectively towards common goals amplified our impact, reinforcing the idea that collective action can drive meaningful change. The most rewarding aspect was the tangible difference we made. Whether it was educating communities or participating in relief operations, each effort had a ripple effect, leaving a positive imprint on those we reached. YRC's participation program has not only broadened my understanding of social issues but has also inspired a lasting commitment to being an active agent of change in my community.

Project Founder 'Coaches in Kind' (not-for-profit); Research Fellow, Global Innovations for Character Dev/PhD student (UoB); Co-founder Dragonfly: Impact Education; ICF ACC Coach; The Coaching Academy Coach Trainer.
Coaches in Kind Update: Thanks so much if you’ve checked in to see how things are going with the CiK project. (Sorry for the radio silence if you’ve been wondering where we’re up to.) It’s been a busy week starting to consider all the factors at play. In DISC terms my C has been in charge! I met with the brilliant Jo Halliday , Manisha Vithani , Nicola Martin, Julie Ridge on Wednesday and I’m processing all the ideas and will be in touch with those who couldn’t make the call soon. Kate Greaves Jenny Marchant @davidhodkinson One thing we did pretty much decide is that face to face coaching for children and young people is going to be the priority. Staff coaching is fine online but the vision is around increasing trusted adults within the school community and that means real people in schools chatting to teachers, working with kids - being ‘there’. I also walked my talk this week and volunteered in a local primary school delivering a coaching workshop making dream capsules for #childrensmentalhealthweek2024. The buzz of in person work in schools is pretty addictive! And a great chance to meet staff and governors. This in-person-only piece means that to get coaching into certain schools, I am going to have to think about raising funds to employ coaches if we can’t find pro bono offers in certain areas. This adds a new dimension but I have lots of ideas! On another important note, I’m starting the ball rolling with legal advice tomorrow thanks to Raj Sumal ‘s team at Mezzle. No good deed and all that… Hopefully I can get all the boring stuff out the way and start making introductions soon. Thanks for all your support folks. xx #coachesinkind #coachesforschools #withinreachcoachingforschools

Doing The Right Thing. Everybody knows Glasgow folks have one hell of a social conscious. That people are the heart and soul of the city. That it’s a city with a unique spirit and most of all a city that cares.. MCR Pathways is one of Glasgow’s finest inventions, an outstanding charity that gives disadvantaged young people the chance to create a better life for themselves. They’ve knocked it out the park year after year after year after year after year. Thousands and thousands of young people with better, happier and more fulfilling lives making their own dent in the universe as a result. Everybody overlooks things, everybody makes mistakes, unintended consequences, everybody is human. Come on Glasgow, let’s do the right thing, let’s re-open the budget, look a bit harder, dig a bit deeper and explore how you can give one of your most successful social programmes its funding back. It’s the common-sense thing to do. It’s the Glaswegian thing to do. It’s the right thing to do… #MCRPathways #Charity #Glasgow

𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 ~ 1.3 million young people have stopped activities outside school like socialising with friends, sports and hobbies because of the cost-of-living crisis. Almost 7 in 10 young people are concerned about the cost of living crisis. 76% of young people spend most of their free time on screens and over half (51%) spend most of their free time in their bedrooms. Lets refer to this as 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 because it's real and our youth are becoming extremely disengaged. Over one in five young people (22%) say they don’t have opportunities to learn new skills that help them to become independent – skills vital to help prepare for adulthood 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 ... Youth clubs help young people make friends, learn new skills and overcome difficulties – yet just 9% of 11-18 year olds attend one, and of those who don’t attend one, almost half reported not having a youth club near their home and reported experiencing feelings of depression and anxiety. #youthwork #youth #youngpeople #community #uk #youthworker #youthworkworks #youthgroup #youthempowerment #thefuture #thisisyouthwork #staysafe #investinthefuture #thenextgeneration #education #youthdevelopment #charity #support #enfield #londonyouth #linkedincommunity #linkdinpost #youthmentoring #exodusyouthworxuk
