Plains was honored to support Camp Molly, the first event of its kind in Western Canada! It pays tribute to the first female firefighter on record in North America, Molly Williams, and its goal is to show young women that a career in the fire service is a viable and rewarding option. The dedication and enthusiasm of the instructors, female students, and volunteers were truly inspiring. We had the pleasure of meeting two Camp Molly Board members, Don Carter, VP, and Natasha Carter, as well as Deputy Chief Matthieu Theriault and Lieutenant Krista Bull from the White City Fire Department, among many others. Their commitment and excitement were evident in every aspect of the camp. We also had the honour of attending the Camp Molly graduation, a memorable event for the proud parents and enthusiastic graduates. Camp Molly will undoubtedly impact the participants' lives and may even inspire future careers in the emergency responder field. What an incredible experience for everyone involved!
Sounds like an amazing group of young ladies. Congrats ladies!
This is a great opportunity for young women. My oldest daughter was able to participate in the junior firefighting program for 2 years before graduating high school. Although she didn’t follow that career path it was an amazing experience for her, one that she enjoyed immensely.
We had so much fun hosting this. It was a privilege to meet Beverly and having Plains Midstream sponsor the Camp. Please stay in touch and come visit anytime!!
Amazing!

2moAnd we also donate our (well- loved) retired fleet pickups and prover truck chassis cabs to volunteer fire departments all over Saskatchewan. My North Crude District just donated two more units eastwards. Fire Chiefs and officers, DM me if you want onto our pickup truck donation waiting list. I will put you in touch with the right people.
