Our team just returned from the RNG Works Technical Workshop and Trade Expo, and what a fantastic event it was! The PlanET group that attended had a great time networking with other industry leaders and presenting the advantages of PlanET technology. The energy and enthusiasm at the event were contagious, and we are grateful to have had so many visitors stop by our booth to learn about our solutions. A big thank you to everyone who visited and engaged in meaningful conversations. Your interest and support mean a lot to us. Yesterday, PlanET Biogas, in collaboration with Bethesda, participated in the United Way Niagara 3rd Annual Fire Truck Pull and emerged victorious! The “Dream Team” made up of 10 people, pulled a 12-tonne fire truck 100 feet in just 14.35 seconds, securing the first-place spot and bragging rights for days! This event wasn't just about competition though; it was about community and support. The funds raised went to benefit the United Way's vital initiatives with 100% of the proceeds going to their social programming in areas such as food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence, poverty and social isolation. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us and joined in the fun. This wouldn't have been possible without the enthusiasm and dedication of everyone involved. Why do we celebrate Labor (Labour) Day? Today we commemorate Labor Day in both Canada and the US, but how many people really know what the meaning behind the holiday is all about? To many, it’s just another statutory holiday with parades and fireworks that segway us between the end of summer and start of autumn. But the holiday has a lot more significance. Labor Day celebrates the progress and success of the people that were dedicated to establishing the workers’ rights and the many protections that we have today. And it all originates from a worker demonstration in Ottawa, Canada in 1872. It's a day to honor the spirit of resilience, innovation, and collaboration. So, to all the dedicated workers out there—whether you're in the office, on the field, or behind the scenes—thank you for your commitment and determination. The workforce in North America is the backbone of our success as a continent, so let’s continue to support each other and celebrate our achievements. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲 (𝗛𝟮𝗦) 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀? We know that despite best efforts, Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) can accumulate in anaerobic digesters to levels high enough to create significant safety, corrosion, and gas quality issues. This can lead to expensive, high-maintenance mitigation and costly, high-frequency replacement of activated carbon. Fortunately, MicroNOX ON16, a preventative, micronized iron-rich powder that was developed to reduce digester upsets.
