The interest in new food solutions is gaining momentum. It’s a paradigm change and even in the short time Audu by PlanetDairy has existed we sense the wave that is building in the transformation of food.

BACK TO THE FUTURE 🚀   How do we accelerate the green transition of our food systems?   That was the question for today's webinar on the historic CO2 tax proposed on the Danish agricultural sector.   To answer this – and many more questions – we had invited our Deputy Director-General Morten Beck Høyer to present the opportunities for the biosolutions sector in the agreement.   The message was clear:   Biosolutions hold a special key to deliver a greener agricultural and food sector, and we need to present those solutions.   The agreement entails a range of windows for us to showcase biosolutions as to help farmers reach their green targets. Just call it protein. I ducked into this talk at the last minute and am so glad I did. What an incredibly knowledgeable panel from Synthesis Capital, Good Food Institute Europe, Anthesis Group, Forum for the Future and FAIRR Initiative. Our food system needs help to become more secure for future generations and reduce emissions. They agreed the approach must be diverse and inclusive, ensuring farmers are not shamed or diverted from what they are good at. The only real enemy here is factory farming and over reliance on a small number of proteins.
