In collaboration, WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development member companies Arcadis and Fujitsu have developed new digital solutions for municipalities and businesses aimed at optimizing the deployment of multimodality — to achieve low-emission, accessible mobility.

My article on E-mobility was featured today on page 9 of Business Daily. It gives an overview of Kenya's e-mobility landscape, strategies, and the strides made towards sustainable transportation. For Kenya and many developing African nations, e-mobility provides a chance to lessen dependence on fossil fuels, enhance public transport systems, generate employment, and address health concerns stemming from transport emissions, primarily in cities. However, to fully enjoy these advantages, we need stable policy incentives that will help the e-mobility ecosystem expand. It is also essential to incorporate the concept of a just transition in this shift, to prevent e-mobility from becoming an "elite" product presented as a solution to a public necessity. UhUb influences improved sustainability outcomes within businesses.   Here is a short clip from Elad Amir , MD at Design Cleaning Services telling us about the sustainability practices they employ (some great ideas there) and how UhUb affected and facilitates that.   Our partnership with JustOne UK is increasing our Sustainability & Planet messaging and learning effectiveness, but even way back when UhUb began we saw sustainability in all we do as foundational, and just not an option.   When we put on our Sustainability event at WWF, one week before lockdown, attitudes about, and interest in sustainability was already excellent in the industry. In fact, you would be right to say our industry was committed to, and succeeding in, leading the way in many aspects.   Since then, we have seen things develop beyond the ‘Our business does this and we have a certificate for reception’, to the ‘We empower and educate our people to do that and look what we have all achieved together as a group and as individuals’.     That is so much more exciting, engaging, empowering and effective.   When it comes to engaging staff and changing cultures & aspirations through training & education, we are not like the others.
