Just a Thought; Working on a recent #strategic #initiative brought my attention to the importance of realistic timeline planning and its impact on team morale. We were given an ambitious deadline that didn’t align with our resources. Despite our best efforts, meeting it was impossible, which led to #disappointment, finger-pointing, and a noticeable dip in #morale. Had we been involved in setting a more achievable #timeline, I believe we could have delivered on time. The key lesson: Be realistic when #planning your strategic initiatives. It's essential not just for hitting targets but for ensuring the #financial #health of your project and, just as importantly, the #well-being of your team.
