Fast extraction of #wood at the right time might mean the difference between a healthy and well growing #forest stand, and one dwindling due to too many #trees per ha, or under the dire effects of some #natural #calamity (#windbreaks, #insect attack, forest #fire). By using the long range and high capacity #cablecranes produced by our company, you make a strong step towards the #sustainable #management of your forest #asset, while mobilizing wood for local use and thus ensuring both job creation in #woodworking industries and #energy low dependency by using wood-based #biomass for the production of electricity and heating! Lots of wins, and it all starts with reaching deep into woods where otherwise you cannot do it #economically efficiently and / or #ecologically effectively! If there is a will, there is a way! 🪨Asphalt’s Secret to Longevity🪨 When we talk about building strong, long-lasting roads, the conversation inevitably turns to asphalt. But did you know that the true hero in this mix is the AGGREGATE? 🔹What is Aggregate? Aggregate is a granular material, such as sand, gravel, crushed stone, or recycled concrete, that forms the foundation of asphalt concrete. It occupies approximately 90-95% of the total volume and 75-85% of the total weight of asphalt concrete. 🔹Types of Aggregates Used in Asphalt: Crushed Stone: Offers excellent bonding and stability. Gravel: Provides good drainage and is cost-effective. Sand: Enhances the smoothness and compatibility of the mix. Recycled Aggregates: Eco-friendly options that reduce environmental impact 🔹Innovations and Sustainability: The industry is continuously evolving, with advancements in recycling techniques and sustainable practices. Utilizing recycled materials not only conserves natural resources but also contributes to reducing carbon footprints. The movable gutter system has several advantages: 1: Optimized Space Utilization Compared to traditional fixed type hydroponics systems, it requires fewer passways. This optimizes space utilization, making the overall layout more efficient and reducing the amount of non-productive area. It enables a horizontal dense close-row gutter system instead of having intervals between gutters, which further enhances the utilization of non-productive space. 2: Increased Yield The movable gutter system can boost the yield by at least 30% more than the fixed system. This achieved by ensuring that plants have more uniform access to light, nutrients, and water. The gutters can be adjusted and positioned in a manner that maximizes the plants' growth potential.#nftchannel #nftsystem #hydroponicsystem #hydroponics #hydroponicfarm #guttersystem #movableguttersystem

Interim landfill covers have come a long way in the past few years with continued innovation of geomembranes that both extend the service life of exposed liners and improve the containment of gases that are generated by the decomposition of refuse. While some question the economics of deploying covers prior to the end of a landfill’s service life, the benefits have shown to clearly outweigh the cost by: - Decreasing the amount of trash being blown by wind into the surrounding environment. - Capturing gases that not only are unpleasant for nearby neighbors, but also negatively impact the environment. - Shedding rainwater and snowmelt that would otherwise percolate through the refuse and need to be collected and treated as leachate, a costly endeavor. No matter the scope of your interim lining project, ICS can help you find the best liner to help meet your goals. #landfills, #interimcovers, #ics, #gasses, #smell, #trash, #rainshed, #temporarylandfillcovers, #leachatereduction, #leachatetreatment, #dailycovers

Rotary Trommels possess features which make it the ideal choice in hydrovac (hydro-excavating) soils and concrete washout recycling applications, in my humble opinion. Trommels are very effective at handling surges of water (typical with hydrovac truck waste) through their large open screening area, internal flight design and spray bar design. Their robust construction makes them effective at handling impact of larger rocks and their tunnel design is effective at removing elongated rogue contaminants, without risk of hook-up. Greater retention time and tumbling action, provides better opportunity for coarse/fines separation as well as providing a better rinse wash. (Above comparisons being drawn against dewatering screens). Trommels allow hydrovac soils and concrete washout to be processed faster and more efficiently. Their operation is safe, economical in terms of power consumption and the maintenance is simple. To learn more about our trommels, please reach out! #CircularEconomy ♻️ McLanahan Corporation
