How about taxing the companies who waste plastic? I'm pretty sure they'll find a way how to cut cost if that cost was passes on to them. Rather than the customer.

This is such unnecessary pollution of the environment. I am all for making peoples lives easier, but producing extra single use plastics because people do not want to peel their own oranges is ridiculous. Of course we all use single use plastics, but we should try and limit the usage where we can.
