On Sunday, prior to Megan Rapinoe’s jersey retirement ceremony, Brittany Rupik, our very own Deaf performer, performed the National Anthem in ASL on stage. This is such a perfect example of how we can build accessible and inclusive experiences in professional sports. Thank you to Seattle Reign FC for the partnership and continued investment into the Deaf and hard of hearing community. And a round of applause for Brittany for her amazing performance in ASL. I recently received a nice surprise in the mail. A letter from Senator Laura Murphy with a State of Illinois Senate Certificate of Recognition for the work P-X-P: Access in Sports and I did with National Hockey League (NHL)’s NHL in ASL. My gratitude goes to Senator Murphy and the State of Illinois for the recognition and support of our work in advancing Deaf accessibility and inclusion. One of our favorite things to do is to support other teams and leagues by attending sporting events on our off days. Thanks again to the Barclays Center for having us for our first ever WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) game.

A rare off day lately for the P-X-P: Access in Sports crew as we took in our first ever WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) game last night with the Los Angeles Sparks & New York Liberty. Here's a sneak peek of our trek from Manhattan to Brooklyn as myself, Noah Blankenship, MBA, and Jason Altmann got to see Sabrina Ionescu and her 31 points carry the Liberty to a win last night. Thanks again to the Barclays Center and the New York Liberty for having us! P.S. Game 6 of "NHL in ASL" is tonight on ESPN+ and Sportsnet+ at 8 p.m. ET. 🤟
