So what separates the frontrunners pushing AI forward from the rest of the pack? As Milan Miric surfaces in his recent Harvard Business Review post, we should recognize it's not simply the technology itself that leads to success. The companies making the biggest splashes have crafted masterful strategies to harness AI's potential in creative ways. However, this very normalization also lowers barriers to entry for more niche AI applications, likely promoting more diversity across the wider landscape. Finally, anticipating the future, Milan expects to see increasing fluidity in job mobility for AI talent as these standardized tools become the status quo. The ability to effectively leverage models will soon supersede the need to build systems from the ground up. In closing, as technology and business consultants, it's time we shift our focus beyond the technology alone. True competitive advantage will stem from strategic excellence in this increasingly standardized AI arena.
