Across the globe, there is great variability in access, content, organization, and provision of care for children, sometimes hampering the provision of personalized pediatric care and leading to unmet care needs. This results in outcomes like poor continuity of care, coordination of care, transition of care, and patient-centered care, eventually harming the quality of care. The European Journal of Pediatrics acknowledges the importance of the organization of pediatric care and now welcomes submissions to the collection on ‘Organization of pediatric care’: https://lnkd.in/eF62xct4
Together with Prof. dr. Peter de Winter, I will be hosting this collection. We aim to publish high-quality research papers related to the organization of pediatric care. We seek original papers that can provide scientific and interesting practical insights for healthcare professionals and policymakers. Researchers, practitioners, scholars, and professionals from various (medical) disciplines are invited to submit their original research and contributions to our collection.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
