#Worldline has published a landmark life cycle analysis study conducted in Belgium which shows the potential of digital payments to decarbonise payment systems. The report confirms that compared with cash payments, in-store digital payments produce significantly lower levels of CO2-equivalent (CO2e) emissions. The issuing contract with Consorsbank (the German branch of BNP Paribas) built on a relationship already since 2007, will continue to exist in the following years. I am glad to announce that Worldline has been chosen by the Cassa Centrale Group as a strategic partner to pursue exclusive negotiations for a long-term partnership! 🥂 The collaboration concerns the provision of services along the value chain of digital payment acceptance and international acquiring for the Group's Banks, including 66 institutions and 1,500 bank branches located in Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.
