Most of the subsidy is going to vendors who charge much higher and are allowed to profiteer.. The market price in Bengaluru for DCR panel based system is 75k/KW vs your benchmark price of 50k/KW .. You remain Mute to mails and comments.. Fix MRP, so that subsidy benefit goes to public and not swindled by traders..

India's ambitious policy, falling solar costs, and rapid infrastructure development propel them forward. The US, on the other hand, faces a complex web of economic, political, and infrastructural hurdles that slow its transition to clean energy. Here's the breakdown: Policy Push vs. Market Forces: India actively promotes renewables through subsidies and infrastructure projects. The US energy market, however, prioritizes short-term economic gains, making a clean energy transition less attractive for some players. Infrastructure Gap: India is rapidly building a grid for renewables, while the US grapples with modernizing aging fossil fuel infrastructure. Upgrading requires significant investment and navigating vested interests. Political Landscape: Public pressure for clean energy solutions is stronger in India compared to the US, where powerful fossil fuel lobbies and divided political will create roadblocks.
India is on track to achieve its 50% renewable energy goal earlier than 2030. Meanwhile, The US continues to rely mainly on gas even though the alternative is now as cost-effective as fossil fuels. Why? Research: InvestyWise

It is encouraging to see that developing countries such as India, China and Brazil are increasing share of renewable energy in their energy portfolio. They are able to achieve this by investing in renewable energy to meet their growing demand. At the same time, it is difficult for developed countries to increase the share of renewable energy in their energy mix as in order to do so they have to replace their existing energy infrastructure before its payback period.

Dear Nikhil Kamath theirs a great different between installed capacity and real generation . And also include captive power ( energy generated and used by industries). Industrial sector in India generate 95% of their energy from non renewable and large percentage generated by public undertakings are non renewable . i have shared the data in comments Hoping for your reply InvestyWise
