Many of us overcomplicate bringing our ideas to life. In reality, 99.9% of ideas can be built out in 6-steps: 1. Clearly define your idea 📝 2. Build a simple, "toy version" 🛠️ 3. Get 10 ppl to check the toy out + get feedback 👥 4. Improve the toy 🔧 5. Get 100 ppl to check it out (ex. first customers, listeners, subscribers) 📈 6. Launch + go big 🚀 This framework comes from buildspace, as they are launching their "nights and weekends" program again. Combining this with #nocode approach means you can bring your ideas to live apps in weeks, not months. Interesting times we are in! 🌟

Midweek Reflection: What's the biggest challenge you've faced in app development? I’ll go first 👇 Back in 2020, Andrii Bas 🇺🇦 and I had a mission to create an all-inclusive platform for virtual team building and events – Teamroom. Our goal was to craft an experience that's fully customizable and interactive – a space where remote teams could bond and share laughter like never before. We even put it to the test ourselves during Sommo's 1st anniversary bash (in the days when it was known as No Code No Problem 😄), and it was a blast: a lively host, exciting contests, and plenty of fun moments. You might wonder, "Why do you see this as a challenge?". Well, I don't see it as a complete flop, but looking back, we could've taken a smarter route by going no-code from the start. Why? We poured $50k and hired a team of 2 backend devs and 2 front end devs for this project. However, with no-code, it could've been more cost-effective and required just one skilled developer. This experience was a real eye-opener for me. It fuels my drive to explore innovative ways of developing future projects using no-code solutions. 3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Launching an App as a Non-Tech Founder 1. Communication with Developers This was a big one for me. It's wild how much clearer things got once I started communicating properly with my developer. Early on, I was speaking in vague ideas, which led to big delays. Learning to express my vision clearly (and picking up some dev lingo) saved so much time and hassle. Writing things down and being super specific made the process faster and way smoother. 2. Less is Better We wasted months building a feature almost no one ended up using 🙃 We thought our product was not enough and it needed more for users to find value. Sticking to a simple roadmap and focusing on the core pain point would’ve saved us a ton of time. Now we're keeping it lean and all our actions are driven by analytics and user feedback. If you have any great tips on collecting user feedback, would help a lot as i'm struggling to get enough to make adequate decisions 🤔 3. Just Launch This is the easiest thing to say, but the hardest to actually do 😬 You'll never feel like it's perfect, but shipping the product, getting real feedback, and iterating is 1000x more valuable than waiting for everything to be flawless. Building a Supportive Health Journey: My Experience with the Gravity App (In Progress) I'm excited to share a project I've been diligently working on - the Gravity app!
