It's boot-wearing weather! Boots, especially long ones, are investment items in your wardrobe. You want to keep them in tip-top condition so they last for years. With that in mind, storing them correctly will help maintain the integrity of the leather or suede, prevent creasing, and maintain their shape. Here are six clever and cost-effective ways to store your long boots to keep them looking great: 1. Use the cardboard sleeves that come with the boots when you buy them. 2. Cut sturdy foam packaging and place it inside the boots. 3. Roll two paper carry bags (like a supermarket shopping bag). Secure them with two elastic bands and slide them into the boots. 4. Use a pool noodle - cut to size. 5. Roll up a magazine 6. Use an empty bottle (like a wine bottle) Do you have a different way to store your long boots? Imagine if shops didn't bother with a stock room and just put every single item of clothing they had out on the shop floor.
