We are more than a building, product, or machine. We are the TecQuipment family. Jon - Sales & Marketing Director "I've proudly been part of the TQ family since 2013 and my job involves overseeing and assisting our Sales, Marketing and Technical Support teams, as well as overseeing Production Planning to ensure all work aligns with the goals of the company. For technical support I help the team coordinate the responses for installation, commissioning and training to make sure they are in the best interests of the company and the customer. On the planning side it's looking more at ensuring that the right products are being planned in so the production plan matches the order book that we have, and also trying to ensure we have the right stock to keep lead times as low as we can. My work days are a delightful mix โ from diving into US and Canada territory management to collaborating with our sales partners and the internal team and contributing to the broader strategic vision of the company. And of course, it all kicks off with that essential cup of coffee! What I enjoy the most about my role is the variety! Every day brings new challenges, from engaging in sales discussions one minute to troubleshooting technical issues with our engineers the next. It's the dynamic nature that keeps things exciting and fulfilling. Outside of work, I have a large family and a dog so I spend most of my free time in their company. I also enjoy sports, but probably watching more than playing nowadays. However, I am working very hard trying to improve my golf.
