🎄🎅🎉 Happy Holidays and best wishes for a prosperous 2024! As we look forward to the new year, I'm optimistic that it will bring brighter opportunities than 2023. What are your thoughts? In the face of the current economic challenges, which set it apart from previous downturns, remember there's a substantial amount of capital out there. Over $300 billion is cautiously seeking opportunities, which is something to consider if you're in the midst of fundraising or searching for partners. During 2020-2021, venture capitalists accumulated a record level of funds. Meanwhile, the global pharmaceutical industry is facing a significant patent cliff in the next seven years, prompting a search for new additions to their portfolios. Investors have deep pockets but short hands. One of the key reasons investors have been hesitant recently is due to the high interest rates and the subdued public capital markets, including IPO activities. They are equipped with substantial resources but are cautious in their approach. However, a shift in the Federal Reserve's interest rate policy could rejuvenate the capital markets and IPO scene. By following 12 tips below help your potential partner or investor make a positive decision on your opportunity at #jpm2024 Wishing everyone success and resilience in 2024!

Here’s a flashback for your Friday from Event Tech Live 2023…a great discussion on giving the people what they really want when they attend events: MEETINGS This is true for any industry but especially for the life sciences, where externally sourced innovation and collaborations are essential to revenue. But if you show up to an event that doesn’t have a great matchmaking & meeting-making system, you’re much less likely to make the connections that will bring you business and partnerships. This is where an event platform, like One-on-One Partnering, guarantees that delegates find the maximum best-matched connections and easily set up meetings both before and during your event. More high quality meetings = more deals By giving the people what they want at your life science event—a partnering system to set up many promising meetings—and they’ll keep coming back for more! #etllondon23 #lifesciences #partnering

Really looking forward to being on stage again this week. Firstly, discussing how our work with QualifyAI is helping our sister agency @ThePineappleLounge bring the power of AI to the world of kid's research (and the appropriate considerations we need to be mindful of) and then to take part in a lively debate with Niall Smith Danny Russell Rebecca Cole and Jack Bowen about how we encourage and drive transformation in insight by being less scared about failing. From how we can do more within agencies to foster a culture of experimentation, and why it seems so much more acceptable in other industries (tech especially), to how clients can help give us the confidence to be braver to. Might even use the chance to ask Danny when a client asks for 'new and innovative' but then turns you down for being 'too new and innovative' what's your next move? See you there at the Association for Survey Computing (ASC) International Conference on Wednesday. Stage times 12pm and 3.30pm.
"Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly." ― John F. Kennedy Innovation comes through experimentation and trialling new and different approaches. But not every experiment is going to lead to success, and businesses are naturally reluctant to dedicate time and money to ideas that may not ever result in a commercial product. How can we encourage innovation within the #marketresearch industry? And who should be shouldering (and paying for) the risk associated with innovation........bring it on. This is the subject that myself, Richard Owen, Rebecca Cole and Jack Bowen will be debating under the expert tutorage of Niall Smith at the Association for Survey Computing (ASC) International Conference on Wednesday at 15.30. Seems as if it's a sell-out and my very first time at an ASC event so, let's keep it nice, and please do come say hello if you are going! 😁 Looking forward to catching up with some stars of our sector: James Whaley Colin Strong Jon Puleston Debrah Harding Paul Hudson Bethan Blakeley Steve Phillips Phil Sutcliffe #conference #networking https://lnkd.in/eR5CmgUb

Let’s talk about networking—but not just the usual kind where you stay within your own industry bubble. Ever thought about connecting with people from completely different fields? It’s easy to think that only people in your line of work have insights that matter, but some of the most creative solutions come from outside perspectives. Whether it’s tech learning from healthcare, or finance picking up ideas from creative industries, cross-industry networking can give you fresh approaches to old problems. Think about it: innovation often happens when you bring together ideas that wouldn’t typically meet. So don’t be afraid to expand your network beyond the familiar. When was the last time you connected with someone outside your industry? #CrossIndustryCollaboration #Networking #Innovation #CreativeSolutions #CareerGrowth #ExpandYourNetwork #ThinkOutsideTheBox #NewPerspectives

It’s a wrap on top … looking back on so many highlights and so many precious encounters here in Athens 🇬🇷 🎯 Namirial Partner Campus 2024 brought together around 150 attendees from 25 countries with so many great cultural backgrounds. Standing on top of Lycabettus on a balmy late spring evening for a decent amount of time .. not just ticking it off … is probably one of the best places to reflect on all the inspiration and the huge amount of information exchanged. Probably the most important aspect was to experience first hand in so many cases how mutual trust in each other is build, fostered and (re)confirmend - even in sometimes agreeing to disagree about the best solution and accepting that there are not just different ways to Rome but also to Athens and most importantly towards customer happiness. It’s good to know that our tech “stuff” enables so many different approaches regarding orchestration, implementation and deployment. Thanks to all those that took the time to join us in the last couple of days. Thanks to our partners, our joint customers speaking and everyone in Namirial. To all those in transit while these lines are written: Have a safe trip. Looking forward to many more encounters in order to empower even more organizations to digitally transform their processes in trustworthy manner. #PartnerCampus24

VIOne Consult participated in an event in the House of Dutch Provinces – Brussels on 11 December 2023 👏 WHY DO NETWORKS FAIL? – Tools, methodologies and lessons out of practice in sustaining networks to thrive.🌱 Since there has been trace of the humankind existence, networks have been an invincible part of society. Without even realizing it, we as people tend to belong to diverse networks, currently one of the most efficient and effective forms for making an impact and generating value.✅ However, recent data shows that 78% ⁉️ of all established networks fade away within 1 to 2 years’ time and 92% over 3 years’ time. 📌So what is needed for a network to evolve further?⬇ De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences organized an event in the House of Dutch Provinces – Brussels, at the beginning of the week, to answer this question. After opening words by professor Liliya Terzieva (THUAS), Rob van Eijkeren (House of the Dutch Provinces) and Loes Rutten (UASNL), the group of over 50 participants was divided over three workshops. One was delivered by Anja Overdiek, called ‘Mountain View – Regain your breath and make space for overview’. Heleen Geerts delivered the workshop ‘Labtalk arena – encounter fire between different interests’ and Armand van Oostrom delivered a session on ‘Systemic co-design in developing entrepreneurial ecosystems growth’. A panel discussion on thriving networks 📥📤 followed with Montse Badia Serrano (DG RTD G3 - Common Strategic Planning & Programming Service), Koen Vervoort (ENOLL), Frank Evers (Expertise Network Systemic Co-design & Inholland UAS) and Isabelle Vandevyvere, and moderated by Liliya Terzieva.
