Unlike other personal injury cases, Workers’ Compensation cases have a few different deadlines that must be met that are not the standard statute of limitations of three years. It is always best to report an accident and file a claim as soon as you can but you should inform your employer within 90 days of an accident and a claim must be filed within two years of the date of the injury.
