Sumitomo Chemical Launch The Herbicide Wrangler (Picloram + 2,4-D) For Brazilian Market Sumitomo Chemical announced the launch of the herbicide Wrangler, comprising active ingredients Picloram + 2,4-D. Wrangler is designed to control weeds that cause significant losses in grazing areas, such as Guanxuma (Sida rhombifolia), Assa-peixe (Vernonia polyanthes), and Jurubeba (Solanum paniculatum), which are common in Brazil's major biomes. The key differentiator of Wrangler is its SG (solid and granular) formulation, which ″offers significant benefits to ranchers.″ It has additional advantage in operational management by reducing packaging waste and allowing for more concentrated doses.
