I am excited to share my recently published contribution to knowledge with Prof. Christopher Isike. In this chapter, we argued that the Political Science curriculum in post-colonial African Universities remain hegemonic and very disruptive to African cultural practices and indigenous epistemologies. We asked a salient, but often neglected question in the academia: whose interest does the study of political science as presently taught in African Universities serve? The colonized? or the colonizers? More on this discourse available here: https://lnkd.in/gcKXwAft

I am also eager to announce that this summer I am given the opportunity, thanks to the Menard Center for Constitutional Studies at UW-Eau Claire and Philip Rechek, to research a comparative constitutional analysis on states in the international system. This research will be partnered with Julia Thompson, another stellar Political Science student at UWEC, to examine the Roma Genocide around the time of the Second World War. I cannot wait to let the research commence! #Undergradresearch #MenardCenter #UWEC #Politicalscience
