My goal was to create a cinematic shot using ACES and VFX Pipeline with light groups and Volume groups for fine tweaks in compositing. Hi! Here is part three of my flower tutorial series. I show my approach to ensuring a properly non-intersecting flower, how to run it through a vellum simulation guided by the animation, and how to add some post sim details. This is the final part of setting up. This setup can be used to model flowers from reference or to make up believable flower shapes. I was experimenting with Cinema 4D's amazing new particle system in preparation for some classes I taught at Full Sail University. One of the cool things you can do with it is make mold grow on an apple. Also useful for moss or the spread of infection.
