White Masterbatch : Masterbatch White or Milky Masterbatch or Titan refers to masterbatches containing TiO2. These masterbatches contain a high percentage of titanium dispersed in a polymer matrix. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a widely used substance in various industries, with one of its key applications being as a white pigment. Although TiO2 has found significant developments in other applications, its use as a pigment is still recognized as its most important application. The use of this substance as a pigment ensures proper scattering of visible light, resulting in creating whiteness, brightness, and a unique opacity when used in a plastic product. Titanium dioxide is chemically inert, insoluble in polymers, and stable against heat under the toughest processing conditions.
