Keep reading to learn more about a recently published clinical study done on the accuracy of computer-assisted Percutaneous pedicle screw (PPS) placement using our spine navigation technology. 👇 👀 The study was carried out at Epworth Private Hospital, where surgeons used Brainlab spine planning software when performing 1-to-3-level L-SPS via LLIF, ALIF, or combined LLIF/ALIF with PPS placement between L1 and S1. The results showed that Brainlab spine navigation is safe and accurate as an enabling technology for single position spine surgery. These findings are particularly important because this positioning increases surgical efficiency by reducing the need for repositioning. It also leads to a less invasive procedure. We are excited to share this new Level 1 Clinical Evidence study on Restrata, titled “A prospective, blinded, randomized controlled clinical trial evaluating the effect of the synthetic electrospun fiber matrix in the treatment of chronic diabetic foot ulcers” by Dr. Khalid Husain, et al. was recently published online at Foot & Ankle Surgery: Techniques, Reports & Cases.
